Puppet Pavilion is a professional puppet-making creative workshop unlike anything else in Trinidad and Tobago. Founded by RemBunction — one of T&T’s most celebrated multidisciplinary entertainers — Puppet Pavilion is where young people aged 8 to 15 come to design, build, and bring to life a fully finished puppet, entirely from scratch.

This is not a craft afternoon. This is not a hobby club. This is serious creative education, delivered with professional-grade instruction, in a space that is safe, joyful, and built to nurture every child’s unique creative voice.

Complete Creative Process

Participants go through the entire creative arc – concept, design, construction, performance, and public showcase. Every child leaves with a finished puppet. Proof of what they’ve designed and built.

Six Transferable Skills

Every session builds skills that extend far beyond puppetry – skills that show up in the classroom, in relationships, and in life: critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and performance. Fine motor development. Narrative thinking. Collaboration and resilience.

Screen-Free, Hands-On Learning

Physical creation demands the whole mind and body. At Puppet Pavilion, children are fully present – making decisions, solving problems, and building something real with their hands. It’s a cognitively and socially rich experience.

Safe, Supportive Environment

For children aged 8 to 15, who might find performance settings intimidating, puppetry is a way to express, perform, and take creative risks without being directly in the spotlight. Behind the puppet, something extraordinary opens up. We create the conditions for that to happen safely.

A Public Showcase to Remember

The camp culminates in a public showcase where every participant performs with the puppet they created. Families, community members, and sponsors are invited. It is a celebration of what these children accomplished — and a moment that stays with them forever.
